Salaam all. Well I guess it's what is called the red eye. It's when the flash light from the digital camera strucks the retina in the eye. Because before the light illuminates the surrounding, your retina was used to certain degree of light. And all of a sudden, it gets bombarded with flash light. It can be eliminated if a certain amount of light is emitted before the final amount of flash light is projected. In digital cameras, you just need to select the red eye option and the job is done insha'Allah. Ma'assalama.
